FINAL PARTNERSHIP MEETING AND STEERING COMMITTEE OF THE E-CHAIN INTERREG PROJECT

Final Partnership meeting and 7th Steering Committee meeting of the INTERREG E-CHAIN project has been organized in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia, on 9th June 2022. Meeting included also a local public event, organized on 10th of June by project partners, Jadrolinija Rijeka and Faculty of Maritime Studies Rijeka,  with goal to inform wider public about the actions and outcomes of the E-CHAIN project. The meeting was attended by all partners.

Final versions of the E-CHAIN platform and E-CHAIN totems, that will be accessible for tourists in Split, Ancona and Venezia, have been presented on the meeting. Partners have discussed and made decisions about key activities to be performed before the finalization of the project.

INTERREG project E-CHAIN (Enhanced Connectivity and Harmonization of Data for the Adriatic Intermodal Network) presents the cooperation of 10 Italian and Croatian partners. The lead partner of the project is Municipality of Ancona and other partners are Amatori Interstate S.R.L., Brusutti S.R.L., G.M.T. S.p.A., Sveučilište u Trstu, Pomorski fakultet u Rijeci, Prosoft d.o.o., Jadrolinija, City of Split and Rathmann d.o.o.

E-CHAIN main objective is to enhance connectivity and harmonization of data for the Adriatic Intermodal Network, through the realization of a modular integrated software (E-CHAIN platform) for the management of intermodal transport services in port areas for passenger transport. To enhance the current situation, E-CHAIN will focus on providing new services such as an improved Port multimodality info-mobility system for the passengers, Customer Relationship Management, and advanced tourist co-marketing tool for the operators, while being in accordance with sustainability goals. These services will be designed and deployed in the selected pilot sites (Ancona and Split).

Duration of the project is 42 months: from January 2019 to June 2022. The total budget approved for the project amounts to 2.307.784,45 EUR. The project is co-financed by the INTERREG Programme V-A Italy-Croatia 2014-2020.



E-CHAIN LOCAL PUBLIC EVENT HELD IN DUBROVNIK

INTERREG project E-CHAIN (Enhanced Connectivity and Harmonization of Data for the Adriatic Intermodal Network) has been presented on Thursday, 26th of May, at Hotel More in Dubrovnik. The event was attended by Ms Vanja Svetina, head of development for information system in Jadrolinija Rijeka, one of project partners, Mr Miho Baće, Head of the Administrative department for environment preservation and public utilities of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Mr Marijo Bekić, Director of Dubrovnik Hospital along with representatives of Dubrovnik development agency Ms Marina Lazarević and Ms Nataša Mirić. Director of RATHMANN d.o.o. Damir Jurić and project manager Ema Leto have presented the importance of the project to the stakeholders.

During the presentation, stakeholders have been informed about the project duration, finances, partners and pilot locations of the project, but also about the technical components of the E-CHAIN project, adapted for tourist, public administrations and suppliers of transport and tourist experiences.

STEERING COMMITTEE AND PARTNERSHIP MEETING OF THE E-CHAIN INTERREG PROJECT

Partnership meeting and 6th Steering Committee meeting of the INTERREG E-CHAIN project has been organized in Trieste, Italy, on 5th and 6th of April 2022. Meeting included also a local public event, organized on 7th of April by University of Trieste, with goal to inform wider public about the actions and outcomes of the E-CHAIN project. The meeting was attended by all partners, physically or virtually, in accordance with health restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Since the project has entered the last period of project implementation, partnership discussions have mostly been concentrated on the activities to be performed before the end of the project: final testing of the E-CHAIN platform, organization of the local dissemination events, installation of totem on pilot locations, organization of the last partnership meeting etc.

Fifth Steering Committee and Partnership meeting was held in Hotel Park, Split (Republic of Croatia) on 10th and 11th of November 2021. The meeting was attended by all partners ad was held in accordance with health restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the meeting, partners have discussed all issues related to the project management, finances, project tasks and communications. Participants have emphasized the importance of activities related to the software development and first release of the E-CHAIN platform, together with the discussion about communication plans and project activities to be done in the final project period.

VIRTUAL PARTNER MEETING OF INTERREG PROJECT E-CHAIN (27th April, 2021)


Fifth Steering Committee and Partnership meeting was held online on 27th April, 2021, instead of being held in Venice, due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19 pandemic. The meeting was attended by all partners. During the meeting, partners have discussed all issues related to the project management, finances, project tasks and communication. Although Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on project by affecting the budget changes and project deadlines, project implementation is successful. In the following days, we are expecting the first release of the E-CHAIN platform that has been developed by the technical partners, including Rathmann team, during the last period.
